Educate for Change is a small charity which pays for orphans in Uganda to go to school and have the opportunity to change their lives for the better. These children used to eat once every 24 hours and spend their days collecting water and farming. Now they have three meals a day and go to school.  There are always more children to help and we are looking for one off donations to pay for children’s healthcare, food, clothes and the other projects we run as well as new sponsors (it costs 30 pounds a month which includes clothing, books, shoes etc).

Only 50% of children in Uganda finish primary school, and only 23% start secondary school. Only 6% of the poorest children finish secondary school. Every single one of our children, all orphans from the poorest of backgrounds, has finished primary and secondary school, and gone on to tertiary education. Of the 20 young people who have graduated from our programme we have qualified nurses, midwives, mechanics, carpenters, caterers, metalworkers, accountants and chefs. Every one of them is now employed, so education truly has changed their lives. Please help us change more lives through education.
