Any donation, however small, will make a difference to our childrens’ lives. We send the money out straight away and it is collected and spent on our children on the same day. Often the money is used to help guardian’s make more money so they can look after the children better – breaking the cycle of poverty in a sustainable way.

If you wish to help sponsor a child please email educateforchangekayunga@gmail.com. The full costs are below, but many of our sponsors share sponsorship of an individual child. We have no employees in the UK, we’re all volunteers, so every single penny you pay gets sent out to the schools.

£80 – Monthly cost of sponsoring a child through boarding school, including food, school uniform and equipment

£200 – Fees for our most vulnerable children to stay in school during the holidays for a year

£320 – Boarding school fees and food for a child for a term

£960 – Boarding school fees and food for a child for a year

£750 – Vocational course fees for a year (e.g. carpentry, mechanics, catering)

£2000 – Pay for the total cost of one of our children training as a nurse

£20 – Cost of a holiday food parcel so children get more than one meal a day in the holidays

£25 – Bees and a hive for a child’s guardian

£30 – A goat (for the guardian of a child so they can increase their income by selling milk, meat and cheese)

£35 – Malaria treatment for a child

£40 – Text books, exercise books and stationary for our A-Level children for a year

£50 – A pair of goats which guardians can use to mate and sell goats as well as milk, meat and cheese
